Gülen Hareketi mensubu olmak ne anlama gelmektedir?

Kim “Gülenci”dir? Kim değildir? Hareket’e giriş ve çıkış nasıl olmaktadır?

Öncelikle belirtmek gerekir ki, Fethullah Gülen, isminin ön planda tutulmasından hep rahatsız olmuştur. Bu anlamda harekete isim olarak ‘Gülen Hareketi’ denmesinden de rahatsız olmuş, belki ‘Gönüllüler Hareketi’ veya ‘Adanmışlar Hareketi’ denmesinin daha doğru olacağını teklif etmiştir.[1] Mamafih, akademik camiada hep ismine atfen ‘Gülen Hareketi (Gülen Movement)’ dendiğinden, Türkçe’de de bu ismin kullanılması yaygınlaşmıştır. Son zamanlarda, hareketin içindeki kişilerin harekete ilk zamanlardan beri “hizmet” adını vermesinden dolayı, “Hizmet Hareketi” tabiri de Batılı akademisyenler tarafından giderek artan bir şekilde kullanılmaya başlanmıştır.
